JUST 10 DAYS LEFT TO APPLY FOR THE JOB OF A LIFETIME WITH HARLEY-DAVIDSON®

OXFORD (Mar. 10, 2015)

Some applicants described it as‘the adventure of a lifetime’; others called it ‘the dream job’ and the chance to explore the world’…

and now, following unprecedented interest from riders across Europe, and more than 5,000applications received, Harley-Davidson® calls on any remaining adventurers to make their case for the job of a lifetime at www.h-d.com/riderwanted. The application closing date is Friday, March 20. The winner will be announced in April.

Harley-Davidson received approximately one job application every two minutes in the first three-days after the search was launched last month. The purpose? Find one passionate motorcycle rider to head-up the ‘Discover More 2015’ initiative and take on the greatest ride of their life later this year. If this sounds like you, submit a last-gasp application in the next ten-days to ensure you do not miss out on the chance of securing the motorcycling job of your dreams.

All potential riders are reminded they must have a valid European Union passport or valid documentation to travel and work in the European Union, a full motorcycle license, and most importantly, the passion for telling a story that inspires others to consider a similar adventure.

The chosen rider will star in their very own road trip adventure this summer on a two-month all expenses-paid trip through Europe. The rider’s brief is to seek out the best riding roads in Europe and share experiences through social media and a dedicated website. The lucky person gets to keep the Harley-Davidson® Street Glide™ motorcycle used on the journey and be paid €25,000.

Harley-Davidson has applications from riders in more than 27 countries, with most coming from Spain followed by Germany and France respectively. Plenty of riders (30%) went the extra mile, and incorporated a video application, a great way for any future rider to show Harley-Davidson they are up to the task of serious touring this summer.
