BAGGER WORLD CUP TITLE FIGHT HEADS TO ARAGÓN FOR PENULTIMATE ROUND

Eric Granado, Archie McDonald and Oscar Gutiérrez lead a closely fought championship battle into Round 5, while Max Toth returns with Saddlemen Race Development as the inaugural season approaches its decisive stage

MILWAUKEE, WI (August 25, 2026) – The FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup heads to MotorLand Aragón from August 28–30 for the penultimate round of the year, with the championship battle entering a decisive stage before the title showdown at the Red Bull Ring in Austria in September.

Following an action-packed weekend at Silverstone, the inaugural season has now produced five different winners across eight races, while the championship battle remains extremely close. Just 19 points separate championship leader Eric Granado (Joe Rascal Racing) from third-placed Oscar Gutiérrez (Niti Racing), with Archie McDonald (Joe Rascal Racing) sitting only five points behind his teammate. With four races remaining, Aragón represents a crucial opportunity for the leading contenders before the championship reaches its conclusion in Austria.

ARAGÓN ENTRY LIST
The championship lineup for Round 5 sees Max Toth (Saddlemen Race Development) confirmed to continue with the American team, competing with the #2 Road Glide.

Toth made his FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup debut at Silverstone, qualifying sixth and scoring a total of 19 points in only two races. He will once again line up alongside Travis Wyman (Saddlemen Race Development) and Jake Lewis (Saddlemen Race Development).

FOUR ROUNDS, EIGHT RACES, FIVE DIFFERENT WINNERS
The inaugural FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup season has already produced five different race winners across its opening eight races, with no rider yet able to win both races in the same weekend.

Gutiérrez leads the season's winners with three victories, while McDonald has two. Granado, Andrea Iannone (Niti Racing) and Silverstone wildcard Bradley Smith (ParkinGO Team) have each claimed one victory.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE
After eight races, Granado arrives in Spain as championship leader with 147 points, but the fight remains extremely close. Silverstone Race 2 winner McDonald has moved to within five points of his teammate, while Gutiérrez remains firmly in contention, 19 points behind the leader.

Iannone is fourth with 97 points and remains mathematically in the title fight despite missing both races of the opening round at Circuit of The Americas. Since joining the championship at Mugello, the Italian has established himself as a consistent front-runner, including his first Bagger World Cup victory on home soil.

Behind the leading four, Jake Lewis remains the highest-ranked Saddlemen Race Development rider in fifth with 88 points. His consistency across the opening four rounds has kept him ahead of Filippo Rovelli (ParkinGO Team), with the two separated by just nine points as their battle for fifth place continues into Aragón.
