Once there the resort provides ample accommodation, food and entertainment options, including a multitude of bars, restaurants and casinos.

The region offers spectacular scenery both inland and coastal are a real treat for riders, with lots to discover including countless historic villages in the Istrian hills, the Brijuni National Park set in an archipelago of 14 beautiful islands; the Slovenian Karst region between Trieste Bay and the Vipavska Valley which includes caves, springs and disappearing lakes and the amazing Postojna Cave and town of Skocjan.

Rally in Portorož will be a free and open event for all motorcyclists, with any brand of motorcycle welcome, but it is traditionally a magnet for Harley owners to meet, ride together, swap stories and compare bikes – making it one of the ultimate destinations to see some of the most iconic motorcycles in the world.

It will also a fantastic opportunity to check out the latest model year 2020 Harley-Davidsons at the Harley-Davidson Expo, including the brand new LiveWire electric motorcycle. A jaw-dropping line-up of Model Year 2020 bikes will also be available to try out for free in the Demo Rides area.

Commenting on the announcement of the 29th European H.O.G. Rally in Portorož, Bev English, Harley-Davidson’s International Event Lead said: “The welcome we received from everyone in Portorož and the surrounding area in 2016 was phenomenal. It was incredible to see Harley-Davidson flags flying along all of the main roads and the local government, police, hotels, shops, bars and restaurants really embraced the event and made everything very smooth, even as thousands of riders virtually took over the town and surrounding roads! We’re very excited to be going back – and look forward to welcoming even more riders from 18th-21st June 2020!”
